Abbey Weilage
Toddler 3 Lead Teacher
Hello! My name is Abbey Weilage and I am the lead teacher in toddler 3. I’ve had many years of experience in child care through babysitting, nannying, and working at a child care center. I attended MSU pursuing a degree in Child Development and Family Studies. Some things I enjoy doing in my free time are painting and drawing, running, and spending time with my family. I’m originally from rural Morton, MN and moved to Mankato in 2014. I love learning about different ways to teach children and help them grow. My goal has been to lead a class that is accepting of everyone and full of love. My favorite thing is to find the most engaginghands on activities that children are truly excited about. I hope for their time at school to be fun, full of learning, and something they can't wait to talk about at home. I’m very thankful to work for a company with such amazing values that I can share with your children!

Jada Johnson
Toddler 4 Co-Lead Teacher
Hello everyone! I am Jada Johnson and I am the co-lead in T4. I have been working at Cultivate Mankato since August of 2020. Before coming to the toddler program, I was an assistant teacher with the preschoolers. I am originally from Northfield, Minnesota and graduated in 2018. I have attended MNSU for the past 4 years working towards a degree in business management. Through working at Cultivate Mankato, I have focused on learning compassion, consistency and connection. I think these are valuable traits for working alongside children, but also developing into the person I am and want to be. I love getting to learn more about myself and others through my work, and I love the adventure that working in child care creates. I am blessed to be surrounded by amazing children, teachers and families everyday.
