When to use:
- The lights provide a consistent and repetitive visual that can regulate a system no matter how it may be used.
- This is a great activity to pair with music and dance when outdoor time may not be available.
- It could also be used during a small group time for a structured movement activity that gives a “break” to a system that has been sitting.
How to use:
- To ‘wake-up” a sensory system: Use faster moving, more colorful light settings and pair with music for dancing and fun.
- To “slow down” a sensory system: Use slower speed, consistent light (1 light, does not change), pair with comfortable setting and slow or no music.

When to use:
- Some children benefit from visual consistency and stimulation when they are overstimulated.
- The repetitive movement of the water can provide consistency and regulation for a child’s nervous system.
How to use:
- A great option when you are stuck indoors but your child needs to get some wiggles out. The light provides rhythm that will help to ensure they don’t become dysregulated and out of control.
- A great option for calm down, rest or even bedtime when the light is used on slower mode and 1 light. Pair with reading and a noise machine and it may help your child slow down. This may be especially helpful for children that struggle to slow down at rest times.
