Meet Our
Lead Infant Teachers

Ashlie Fitzpatrick

Infant 1 Lead Teacher

“Hello! My name is Ashlie and I am the lead teacher in Infant 1. I was born and raised right outside of Mankato in a little town called Rapidan. After I graduated highschool in 2014, I earned my Child Development Associates and I have been a lead teacher at a childcare center since obtaining my degree. I have been working around and with children for about 14 years. I recently got married in October of 2018 and have a little boy of my own who was born in June 2019. I have always worked with the infant and toddler age and look forward to getting to know many more children and families at Cultivate.

If there was one quote that would sum up my teaching philosophy it would be;

‘As your teacher, I promise to always be in one of three places…
One: In front of you to cheer you on.
Two: Behind you to have your back.
Three: Next to you so you aren’t walking alone.’
-Unknown

I want all of the children at Cultivate to know that they are loved and supported in everything they do. I will always be a listening ear and someone they can count on. Relationships have always been a big part in my teaching philosophy with children and families. I believe that children will succeed in their life if they have healthy relationships to help them grow. I am very excited to get to know all the families and grow those relationships!”

Britni Greenfield

Infant 3 Lead Teacher

“Hi! My name is Britni and I’m a teacher in one of the infant rooms at Cultivate Mankato. I live in Mankato with my husband and 3 kiddos. You can usually find me having a dance party with my kids or in the kitchen baking cakes for my baking business.

I am so excited to start this journey at Cultivate! Working with children has always been a passion of mine. There is something so special about being apart of a child’s life and helping them grow and develop.

As a childcare provider my overall goal is to focus on each individual child’s needs and potential. I strive to create a trusting and safe atmosphere for children to explore, question, practice, play and become the best version of themselves. I think that it is extremely important to build relationships with not only the children but with their families as well. Our classroom will always have an open door policy with a listening ear and helping hand inside! I am excited to start making and strengthening relationships with the kiddos and families that I am lucky enough meet!”

Maddie Clubb

Infant 4 Lead Teacher

Hi! My name is Maddie and I’m the lead teacher in infant 4 at Cultivate Mankato. I am originally from Buffalo, but I moved to Mankato about 4 years ago for college. I recently just graduated from MSU with a bachelors of science in Child Development and Family Studies with an emphasis in pre-occupational therapy! This coming fall I will be at the University of Mary in their occupational therapy doctoral program. I hope to someday work as a pediatric occupational therapist. I am very excited to be able to have this opportunity to work at Cultivate! As a childcare provider, I believe that children best learn through play and exploration of their environment. Cultivate allows for many hands-on opportunities and social interactions to help develop their own understanding of the world around them. As a teacher, I want to be able to help create these learning processes as your child grows. Within my classroom, I hope to help provide a safe and loving environment for both the children and families!
