Preschool 3 Lead Teacher
Hello, my name is Gabby! I am from Elk River, Minnesota. I’m the Preschool 3 lead teacher here at Cultivate Mankato. I recently graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato with a bachelor’s degree in child development and family studies and a minor in psychology. Some things I like to do in my free time are shop at TJ Maxx and go on hikes with my dog. I love being outside (when it’s not freezing cold). I love to learn about children and how their little creative minds work! My favorite thing to do in the classroom is play, help solve problems, and do crafts! Teaching kids about their feelings and how to solve a problem are important things to me that I like to show children during play. Spending everyday with tiny humans is such a rewarding job to me. I cannot wait to make some amazing connections with the children and the families that I meet through Cultivate!

Hello! Tori here, and I’m so excited to be apart of the Cultivate team!
I recently just graduated from Winona State University (Go Warriors!) where I received my bachelor’s in public health. I am now pursuing my master’s at MSU-Mankato in K-12 School Counseling. Though I will miss Winona greatly, I’m looking forward to moving back to the 507 area where I’m from (Saint Peter). In my little free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, taking my dog Wiley on walks, spending time at the cabin, eating sushi, bargain shopping and listening to my favorite music artist, Ben Rector.
I have multiple years of experience working with kiddos – babysitting, nannying and my most recent job working at the Winona State University Children’s Center as a lead teacher. I’m now onto my next adventure here at Cultivate! My favorite thing about working in childcare is seeing and experiencing the growth of your child(s) firsthand – physically, intellectually and emotionally. I can’t wait to teach, learn and grow with your kiddos.

Hello! I’m Alexis Osland. I am from Lamberton, MN. I recently graduated from Minnesota State University with a bachelor’s degree in family and consumer science with an emphasis on child development and family studies and a minor in social welfare. When I’m not at work, you can probably find me spending time with my family and friends. My favorite thing to see in the classroom is children playing. I am passionate about play, and I see the importance of letting a child learn and grow through it. I love watching the children learn and discover new things each and every day. It is fun to hear about new things the children are thinking about, which helps me gain an idea of what themes or topics we should explore and learn about through projects and activities! I look forward to building relationships with each child that comes to Cultivate Mankato.
