MEET OUR TODDLER LEAD TEACHERS
Toddler 1 Lead Teacher
Hello! My name is Gerri Williamson. I am a new teacher in the toddler program. I have been working in the toddler 2 room since March. It has been an amazing journey so far and I cannot wait to get the opportunity to lead my own room. I am on my last semester at MSU Mankato. I will be graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Child Development & Family Study.
I love working with toddlers. It is such a fun age because you are helping them figure themselves out. My favorite part to do with the kids is being active in free play. I love being able to help them explore new words and sounds.
I am excited to continue my career at Cultivate Mankato. I can't wait to share our amazing values with your children.
Toddler 2 Lead Teacher
I went to MSU and got my bachelors degree in psychology. I started my Masters in School Counseling but took a break until I figure out this crazy thing called life. have worked in a childcare setting for 4 years now and nannied my entire life! I absolutely love working with and teaching kids! It’s amazing to be able to watch them grow everyday – developmentally, physically, and emotionally. I know it can be hard to leave your most prized possessions in other people's hands so if there is anything I can do to help put your mind at ease I’m only an email away! Can’t wait to get to know you and your kiddos!
Toddler 3 Lead Teacher
Hello! My name is Abbey Weilage and I am the lead teacher in toddler 3. I’ve had many years of experience in child care through babysitting, nannying, and working at a child care center. I attended MSU pursuing a degree in Child Development and Family Studies. Some things I enjoy doing in my free time are painting and drawing, running, and spending time with my family. I’m originally from rural Morton, MN and moved to Mankato in 2014. I love learning about different ways to teach children and help them grow. My goal has been to lead a class that is accepting of everyone and full of love. My favorite thing is to find the most engaginghands on activities that children are truly excited about. I hope for their time at school to be fun, full of learning, and something they can't wait to talk about at home. I’m very thankful to work for a company with such amazing values that I can share with your children!
